The readings of a liquid-in-glass thermometer are 15℃ and 75℃ when the lengths of the liquid column are 12cm and 27cm respectively.

(a) What is the change in length of the liquid column for a change of1℃?

(b)What is the length of the liquid column when the temoerature is55℃?
