Unfortunately, your teacher is wrong.

As soon as you know you want to practice law in Hong Kong, you should not focus on studying aboard.

Studying aboard, although increases your chance for legal education, ultimately wastes more time and money, as your ultimate goal is to get admitted for practice.

Studying aboard will only make your way more difficult.

如果係美國留學，首先要完成任何一科Undergrad ge學位，然後再考LSAT報Law School，再讀兩年拎JD。美國同英國、香港一樣，基本係Common Law、遵循先例，但美國嘅法律精神同英聯邦有頗大分別。如果想喺美國讀法律再返香港執業，我無記錯的話，好似要考某D資格試。另外，你可以考慮喺美國完成Undergrad，再返香港讀JD（city、cuhk、hku有），本人都係打算大學畢業返香港報JD〜至於High School，美國無統一公開試，而且好易，大學會睇平時成績同SAT（or ACT）唻收人

Admission
