Asking a girl on a date?

Well your already friends with her so what would be the point asking her out as a friend? You think another cup of coffee or movie is going to make all the difference? Of course it's not you silly goose. Ask her out. If you she blows you off then your just have to buy a bottle of Jack and embrace the disappointment.

I wouldn't say just friends. It kills any chance of you making a move, you don't even need to tell her you like her, just ask if she wants to catch a movie or something, leave it open ended.

Do NOT tell her that you want to go as "friends", because the next thing you know you will she will be saying that your like a "brother" to her...

If you like her and there is at least a 25% chance she will say yes, I say go for it. You may get rejected but it's good to know rather than be left thinking 'What if?'.
