1. (a) Move some personal files (Jpeg's, Doc's, Mp3's etc) to an external
drive. Note: Program files cannot be moved otherwise they won't run.
Always try to leave more than 15% free space on a hard disc so the
computer can run at its best speed.
(b) Compress disc to free up space.

2. A driver is the software that runs a particular hardware on a computer.

3. input device imports signals or data into a computer.

4. keyboard and mouse.

5. Optical drive is a hardware that uses optical scanning to read or write data
on/off the appropriate storage medium.

6. (a) Microsoft Office Excel----proprietary. Part of suite. Must be paid for.
(b) Simple spreadsheet----Online freeware.
