find A, B and k

S(t)= A+Be^-kt

1. on the day the kettle is released, that is, at t=0, the annual sales of the kettle is zero
2. After one year, that is, t=1, the annual sales of the kettle is 3935
3. After a number of years (unknown), there would be annual sales of 10000 kettles

if approach t to infinity, A= 10000
but am not sure
and about the rest

thx

1. At t = 0, S = 0. Plug in t = 0 and S = 0. You get 0 = A + B * 1

2. At t = 1, S = 3935. Plug in t = 1 and S = 3935. You get 3935 = A + B * e

That's two equations for the two unknowns A and B. You could subtract one from the other to eliminate A.

A=1000 , then use 1/ 2/ to set up 2 equations for B , k
