How to pronounce 'W' /'dʌblju:/ ( "double U" or "dʌb-lju" )?

Does the /l/ belong to the /dʌb/ (pronounced as "double") or belong to the /ju:/ (pronounced as "/lju")? Thanks!

No matter which word you relate it to, the /bl/ counts as one phonic syllable - without any clear vowel indeed, but the lateral plosive effect results in one "beat" in the sentence's rhythm.
/dʌ-bl-ju:/ if you prefer, with a possibly italic "schwa" between b and l

This question is probably not well understood by people who are not phoneticists or phonologists. The first pronunciation / d/\bl/ /ju:/ is similar to making it into two words, ie, double U, thus the syllable -ble is pronounced with a dark l or a vocalized l (an l that is turned into a vowel). The second pronunciation / d/\blju:/ sounds like / d/\b-bli-ju:/, the l in /bli/ is a clear l (not a dark or vocalized l). The inserted i in /bli/ comes from the following /j/. It is something like an amplification and is short in duration. This is British English pronunciation and is probably not found in American English. Informed comments from experts are welcome.
