going on a cruise that disembark at Ft. Lauderdale , have 1 or 2 days before flying home.
I am travelling with 4 seniors ( so NO night club ) .... YES 4 of them ...
Should i stay in Ft. Lauderdale OR travel to Miami ???
Is there enough local attraction in each location to keep them happy ????
pls suggest some local attractions ....

Stay in Fort Lauderdale on A1A, next to the beach near the port. Grab the trolley and check out the shops and eateries along that stretch. Ride over to Pompano Park for some live horse racing or light gambling:

Either area is great, but I would stay local. Plenty to do...
