1. Ratio = 1cm:6cm138m = 13800
Question = ?cm: 13800cm
To solve the ?...:
13800/6 = 2300cm
THEREFORE: height in the drawing should be 2300cm (or 23m)
2. 18km = 18 x 1000
=18000m
18000 x 100
=1800000cm
Ratio= 3cm: 1800000cm
Divide both sides by 3
=1cm: 600000cm
3. Ration = 1: 80 000 000
6.83cm = ?cm
6.83cm = 80 000 000 x 6.83
6.83cm= 546400000cm
546400000/100 = 5464000m
5464000/1000 = 5464km
