How do I quit a restaurant job I've had for about week?

Tell them you want better shifts if they can't give them to you just tell them thanks but no thanks. Or just stop showing up to work.

If quitting your job is your final decision, you should *always* quit in good terms with your employer, no matter the nature of the job.

Back to the question: give your reasons for wanting to leave, but leave in *good terms* , you'll never know in what circumstances you'll cross path with your current employer again.
