About walking out of my work place?

Can anyone help me. I have been working for Swansea City Council now for over 4 years. The past few months its getting worse. It seems i am getting harrasment all the time. ..... Im a CEO and have been doing the job for over 15 years. Not with Swansea Council but the another county....... But i feel like i am getting more and more abuse. The past two months i feel i dont even wish to be here. ..... I just want to die. ...... I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT OFF THEM NO MORE. .....If i give in my job would i be able to claim JA!!! ......At the moment they Dr put me on the sick .... i just dont know what to do anymore?

I imagine the job is as Clerical Officer or something similar, rather than Chief Executive as some have assumed.Are you in a union? - if not join now. If so, ask them to help you. If you are being bullied or harassed you need to take action. Resigning is the worst way to get JSA, you need to complain and negotiate a pay off unless you are totally misreading the situation. You should have several weeks sick pay (if not months) so don't rush to conclusion, but do tell work you believe they have caused your illness (if you truly do think that).
