a) Let x ml be the volume of jumbo-sized peanut oil.x-x*(1-40%)=600
x-0.6x=600
0.4x=600
x=1500
the volume of normal-sized peanut oil=1500-600=900ml
b) its new volume,
900 x (1+5%)
=945ml
