Dear Peter,

[after a 'Dear', you don't really need another 'Hello'] How are you? Are you busy with your homework?

Today, I am really happy to tell you [instead of 'tell you', you could say 'talk to you', both are okay] about English Week at my school .

The purpose of English Week is to raise ['arouse' is not the correct vocabulary to use in this sort of context] our interest in English. Teachers hope that students will try to communicate more in English, as speaking in English can promote self-confidence.

There are many activities available during English Week. Firstly, there is a had spelling game in the English corner, where we can play games with the English teachers. In the hall, there was a film show! The next hall had singing contest. Of course, all the songs the students sang were in English. They sang very well, as almost all the students like them. In the afternoon, there was book sale and even a story-telling competition!

English Week was very successfully and my friends and I enjoyed it a lot. I am looking forward to receiving your letter/email.

The aim of the Enlgish Week is to rise students' interest about English. Hope that studendt would speak more English. Speaking more English could building self-confidence.

In the English Week, there was a series of events. First, there was a spelling game in the English corner, students could play the game with English teachers. In the hall, there was film screening. There was a English-song singing contest in the other hall. The students sung very well, the audiences enjoyed a lot. After school, there was a book sale and story telling competition.
