Formal English 和 Informal English 最大分別是Formal English is more serious, 在句子結構, 注重文法, 措辭,用語, 通常有修正, edit, revise and proofread. 所有官方的公文, 律師信, 學術文章, 公司宣佈,發表, TV新聞報導, 學校學生作文是用 Formal English.

Informal English 只 有在日常的會話, 電話交談, 和 Email. 用字簡單, 有用俚語(slang). 最重要對方明白你說什麼
