So I need movies like the book/poem the Odyssey that are like being away from home for awhile please help??

O Brother Where Art Thou is supposed to be completely based on the Odyssey Of Homer.I couldn't sit through either story so I can't tell you the details, but that's what it says in the opening credits so there you go.
