The image of the by formed by the plain mirror is 3 m behind the mirror. Since the camera is 3 m in front of the mirror, the image is thus (3+3) m = 6 m from the camera. Hence, to take a clear photo of the boy's image in the mirror, the camera should be set to focus at a distance of 6 m.
