I am seeking your approval to purchase a new split-type air-conditioner for the Laboratory Section to replace the existing one. The existing one was purchased in May 2006 and it is now dripping.

Having an inspection from both Hoomily Engineering Co and Fu Wa Engineering Co, the conclusion is that the part*/unit is broken and should be replaced. A comparison from them is provided in the following:

*You used equipment, not sure you refer to the air-con or simply a part is broken. If the part is broken and it is replaceable, then seeking for a new purchase is not appropriate. If you are talking about the whole AC, then use unit.
