Prayer Does Not Work
===============================================
This simple study proves for a fact that ALL Prayer does not and can not make a differnece in the outcome of anything or anyone being prayed for.
Take the best religious person on the face of the planet and put him or her in a plane that is flying at 18,000 feet in the air. Then shove the religious nut bag out the plane’s door, tell him or her to pray for a safe landing. At the same time broadcast this event to his/her followers of the same religion and have them pray for his/her safe landing.
GUESS WHAT ?.....
Science WINS every single time i.e. SPLAT, there will NEVER be a safe landing the Christian, Muslim, Mormon religious nut bag will die each and every time. Therefore god can not listen nor answer prayers.
===============================================
Several studies of prayer effectiveness have yielded null results.[4] A 2001 double-blind study of the Mayo Clinic found no significant difference in the recovery rates between people who were (unbeknownst to them) assigned to a group that prayed for them and those who were not.[72] Similarly, the MANTRA study conducted by Duke University found no differences in outcome of cardiac procedures as a result of prayer.[73] In another similar study published in the American Heart Journal in 2006,[74] Christian intercessory prayer when reading a scripted prayer was found to have no effect on the recovery of heart surgery patients; however, the study found patients who had knowledge of receiving prayer had slightly higher instances of complications than those who did not know if they were being prayed for or those who did not receive prayer.[5][75] Another 2006 study suggested that prayer actually had a significant negative effect on the recovery of cardiac bypass patients, resulting in more frequent deaths and slower recovery time for those patient who received prayers.[76]

According to a study by Centra State Hospital, "the psychological benefits of Other practices such as yoga, tai chi, and meditation may help reduce stress and anxiety, promote a more positive outlook, and strengthen the will to live."[77] where as just prayer alone has had no effect.

Yes but going to the Virgin Mary is even better.

http://www.sancta.org/rosary/how.html

The fifteen promises of Mary to Christians who recite the rosary:
1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.
2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.
3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against Hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.
4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities and will lead them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.
6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy of eternal life.
7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.
8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the saints in Paradise.
9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.
10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.
11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.
12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.
13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire Celestial Court during their life and at the hour of death.
14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons, and brothers of my only Son, Jesus Christ.
15. Devotion to my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Prayers are simply a form of self-talk.

It's probably better to pray than to tell yourself that you are a failure.

However, neither prayer nor thoughts alone can change reality. You actually have to get off your chair and DO SOMETHING if you want the world to change.

On the other hand, if you simply want to be able to bear life's miseries, and not make changes, then praying is one way of helping you withstand stuff that you cannot or will not change.

no
Jude was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus. He is generally identified with Thaddeus, and is also variously called Jude of James, Jude Thaddaeus, Judas Thaddaeus or Lebbaeus. He is sometimes identified with Jude, "brother of Jesus", but is clearly distinguished from Judas Iscariot, another disciple, the betrayer of Jesus.
we [Muslims] worship the Creator alone [same as in Matthew4:10]
1-Prayers works,
2-there are stories

Doesn't matter who or what you pray to.

It doesn't do anything except waste your time and breath.
