I think it's the angels cause they have an awesome rotation with weaver greinke Wilson and Santana and half the bullpen is pretty good the other half not but they have Ernesto frieri who is beast Kevin Jepsen who can throw hard Scott downs who's been getting better and the lineup is just unbelievable 1 trout 2 torii hunter if they sign him who can come up in the clutch 3 pujols future hall of famer that's all I have to say 4 morales who came back this season from a broken leg who missed 1 1/2 season and hitt I think 22 home runs 5 trumbo who can hit the long ball and can hit it far and potentially a walk off homer and in the clutch avg home run distance 419.7ft this season which lead the majors so in my point of view I think it will be the angels to beat in the American league
It will certainly be easier to tell after free agency, but I'll say the Angels. Pujols will be comfy (at least he will have a better start than last year), Trout will be there all year (and perhaps improve) - we will have to see what they do with Grienke, or if they want to get another big name pitcher.
The Tigers are up there as well, but were mediocre much of this year before the playoff push; the Yankees might receive a big shake-up following the playoff debacle; and Texas might be down Josh Hamilton.
