賠償的英文怎麼說？

i ask for a compensation from the company.

"要求賠償"的英文是 request compensation (不加a)

I (would like to) request compensation from the company (for + 原因).

比如: I (would like to) request compensation from the company for the car
accident. 我要向那家公司要求車禍的賠償.

I (would like to) request compensation from the company for my injuries.
