Q1 Consider the functions f(x) = e^x + e^(-x) and g(x) = ln(x^2 - 7). Find the largest possible domain (as a subset of real numbers) of each function.

Q1 for f(x), the domain is R. For g(x), the domain should satisfy x^2 - 7 > 0

So, the domain of g(x) is x > √7

Q2 lim(x->0) (1 - cosx)/(x^2 + 3x)

= lim(x->0) sinx/(2x + 3)

= 0
