Basically for over a month my left eye has been really red. It started off just being abit crusty in the morning and then all if the sudden it was blood red, it got to a stage where is was really bad when it was really red and then it died down and i was like finally its going. But then just as a finally get happy it turns red again. It's one hundred percent not bacterial conjunctivitis because it would have been long gone by now and i dont have the symptoms for that. Its just crusty in the morning not sticky or gooey, but its really red over the whites of my eyes. I've been to the doctors so many times this month but no ones helped and its really depressing me now. They thought it might be allergic but ive never been allergic to anything before and the drops they gave me for allergy's hast done anything but probably make it worse.
I've been very hygienic and tried everything but its flared up again and i really don't know what to do any more, its very confidence knocking.

Consider the alimentary is all connected.

Try natural [probiotic] yoghurt & honey as a medicinal food, to cleanse the palate after a meal before brushing your teeth to cleanse all traces of food from the mouth.

Try vapours like from Friar's Balsam or menthol

Try a netipot/rhino horn

Try Tratak

Change your bedding

Adopt this cleansing routine you're doing also at night before you go to bed.

Drink water as opposed to other beverages...,

...the aim is to detox wherever possible and provide the cleanest environment to eliminate all possibilities if not resolve the condition in the process.

I can only think of inflammation, so steroid eye drops would reduce the inflammation.

Try and get a referral to an eye hospital as this has been going on for a long time.

Does the eye feel dry? Dryness can also cause inflammation of the eye. But an eye doctor at an eye hospital would be your best bet.

Blood clot on the whites of e eye is a common condition that is often caused by usage of aspirin, blood thinners, or sneezing. It is a benign condition that resolves on its ownin 2-3 weeks. It does not cause pain or change your vision. You should not "feel" it. If you should feel it or there is change in your vision then see your local ophthalmologist for an evaluation.

Are you a diabetic? see the optician and get checked out for diabetic retinopathy, this link explains it all but it isn't as bad as it makes it sound, basically it is little blood vessels in your eye bursting, same idea as hardening of the arteries, my partner has it and gets it checked out years, the redness comes and goes, I am also diabetic and when I get my eyes checked out I have a milder version of this but no red eyes, lets hope I am wrong and it is not this but check out the link, Good Luck
