1. My class teacher told me to arrive before six forty-five, the time of our tuck shop "opened".

"told" = main verb of the sentence
"the time of our tuck shop opened" = noun phrase as appositive of "six forty-five".

Therefore, it is grammatically incorrect to have "opened" appearing in the phrase as a finite verb in past tense.

You should rewrite the phrase as:
(a) the opening time of our tuck shop; or
(b) the time when our tuck shop opened.

2. I rushed to the relevant sections to grab the "required" items.

"rushed" = main verb of the sentence
"required" = past participle of "require" acting as adjective to modify "items".
