P(neither Paul nor Peter get a red ball)
= P([Paul gets a blue ball] and [Peter gets a blue ball])
= P(Paul gets a blue ball) x P(Peter gets a blue ball)
= (5/10) x (4/9)
= 2/9

P(either or both of Paul and Peter get a red ball)
= 1 - P(neither Paul nor Peter get a red ball)
= 1 - (2/9)
= 7/9
