Solve the following equations.

1) (2x+1)(x+3) = 0

2) (3x-2)(4x-7) = 0
3x-2 = 0 or 4x-7 = 0
x = 2/3 or 7/4 #

3) 6x^2+18x = 0
(6x)(x+3) = 0
6x = 0 or x+3 = 0
x = 0 or -3 #

4) 8-6x+x^2 = 0
x^2-6x+8 = 0
(x-4)(x-2) = 0
x = 4 or 2 #

5) 4x-4x^2 = 1
-4x^2+4x-1 = 0
4x^2-4x+1 = 0
(2x-1)^2 = 0
x = 1/2 (repeated) #
