It was mid-autumn festival last night,the moon was so bright.We went to Victoria Habour to celebrate this festival.It was so crowd and warm.'Oh!Are you Betty?'I asked a familiar girl.'Yes I am!Aren't you Kitty?'she answered.We both so glad that we met each other again as we have lost contact since we graduated from primary school.We sat together and ate mooncakes.We told each other the interesting thing that happened in our school.Then,we went to play laterns.The stars were extraordinary shiny.There are laughter in every nook and corner.The god treated me so well.I could come across Betty.How lucky I am?I should treasure this friendship and I wouldn't let it vanish.This night I felt extremely happy.And we chatted so much under this luxury moon light.

On the middle of the mid-autumn festival, the moon pours pools of liquid gold. With a glimmering candle light, near the beach we sat, enjoying the moment of peace.

On the other side of the shore, hundreds of people hanging around with all kinds of lanterns, running around with happiness. They had fun enjoying their time with friends, I had fun enjoying my time alone...

I took out a piece of moon cake, oily, a little bit salty. It was supposed to be warm, but not anymore. I stared at the empty seat right next to me, where my wife should have sat, and tears ran down my cheek.
