Statement (3) is correct.

Image (影像) formed by a plane mirror (平面鏡) is always vitual (虛像), as the image is formed behind the mirror. Note that for a mirror (plane or curved), real image (實像) must be formed in front and virtual image must be formed behind the mirror.

Image formed by a convex lens (凸透鏡) can be either real or virtual, depending on the distance of the object from the lens. When the object is placed between the focus (焦點) and the lens, the image formed is virtual. For other locations of the object, the image formed is real.
