United States Defense Secretary Panetta yesterday in Japan during his visit to
urge peaceful solution to the Diaoyu Islands dispute between China and Japan,
he also reiterated that the United States abide by the obligations under the
US-Japan Security Treaty,but sovereignty over the Diaoyu Islands is no position.

For the political issues,I think that the United States simply ignore the Diaoyu
Islands in China and Japan compete for. It is because Panetta yesterday
and Japan Foreign Minister Xuan and defence officials said after the meeting,
United States concern the Diaoyu conflict triggered demonstrations but for the
sovereignty of the Diaoyu Islands, will not have any position.
