How long does a Brita Water Bottle filter last?

I am looking in to buying a Brita water bottle so I can drink purified water. The filter in it is suppose to take out the carbon and chlorine. And, it is suppose to taste better. You can put water from the tap in it too. One filter can replace 300 plastic bottles. So, does that mean I can only fill it up 300 times, or does it last or a certain amount of months? If you have any idea it would be very helpful. Thanks!

the filter consists of activated carbon and filters out impurities in the water and makes it taste better. The suggested replacement is every 2-3 months. a bottle is smaller than a full brita pitcher, so you can only fill it up for about 2-3 months before you should replace it.

This is for the Brita Fill and Go water bottle. According to the manual, the filter disc can filter up to 20 litres of water. The bottle will hold 0.6 litre. Assuming you drink 4 bottles (0.6 litre) a day.
20 / 0.6 = 33.33 times
33.33 / 4 = 8.33 days
So tthe manual says the filter disc requires replacement every week is more or less accurate.
However, stretching this to 2 weeks would not be a problem. Since you are filtering drinkable tap water; the worse case scenario is you will be drinking unfiltered tap water.

Mine last around 2-3 months, and I have an indicator on the filter to count down how long it is to replace it; the indicator snaps on the filter and senses how much water passes through it,. In stores everywhere.
