ln x + ln (x - 1) = 1
ln [x(x - 1)] = ln e
x(x - 1) = e
x² - x - e = 0
x = {1 ± √[(-1)² - 4(1)(-e)]}/2
x = [1 + √(1 + 4e)]/2 or x = [1 - √(1 + 4e)]/2 (rejected)

where h and k are constant.

When w = 100, C = 1070 :
1070 = h(100) + k

1670 = h(160) + k
160h + k = 1670 ...... (2)

h = 10

Put h = 10 into (1) :
100(10) + k = 1070
k = 70
