(48+x):(72-x)=13:1717(48+x)=13(72-x)
816+17x=936-13x
30x=120

Let the no. of books that Angie borrowed from Leslie = x.
So after borrowing, Angie has (48 + x) and Leslie has (72 - x) books.
So (48 + x) : (72 - x) = 13 : 17
(48 + x)/(72 - x) = 13/17
17(48 + x) = 13(72 - x)
816 + 17x = 936 - 13x
30x = 120
x = 4.
