but no Missy Elliot?....who is not only the highest selling solo female artist but has mass critical acclaim, has proven to be a great song writer and has a classic album to her credit. When i see people but Paula Perry or Alpani B ahead of someone like that it makes think that the list is made by a rap nerd.

If you are gonna have K-def and Stoupe in there....i don't see how Just Blaze, Kno, Rick Rubin, Timbaland and The Neptunes, especially when they are vastly more accredited than them...not to mention talent-wise they are amazingly dope and probably just better all around aren't mentioned...Even in comparison to someone like Alchemist makes me look at this list side eyed...

Dead @ss...these list are hard....i know because i made one...and even after a couple months i'm still changing it around...but even so....there is a LOT wrong with your list...you have RA The Rugged Man ahead of Scarface....REALLY? i mean i made some f*ck ups before (I.E. having Ice-T WAY too low...i didn't even notice but thats why i ask for help when i can) but that makes me wonder if you are basing this list on limited sources...RA can rap....but one wack album and one nice album doesn't put you in the Top 20 all time...

i mean....Blaq Poet over Common? Who has one of the best discographies in Hip Hop? Inspecktah Deck over Ghost and Raekwon? Based on what??? This is my main issue with a lot of peoples list...what exactly is it you guys base your opinion off of? I think there is way too much personal bias on this list when guys like Papoose (Who didn't even release a album) can be ranked 37th all time...and i won't even go into DMC....

But what makes your list DUMB....is things like this....

you know....maybe you ain't up on Aceyalone...so i won't get at you too hard for that....but Jay-Z at 57? C'mon son....thats a slap in the face of Hip Hop...sh*t like that makes people not value your opinion because there ain't no way you're gonna find 56 n*ggas that did more in regards to Hip Hop than that man....not to mention having a excellent discography...Fix that bias sh*t dude.


EDIT: I also noticed that you separate the MC's by sex....Stop that...Lauryn Hill and Missy Elliot both have done more than enough to put them up on any list. They are still MC's so i don't see the point in separating them by their gender....

1) Big L - Lyrcally a moster nasty flow often overlooked but for me skill wise he is the best and lifestyle ov the poor and dangerous is a classic to me.
2)Big Pun - Most rappers rhyme 2 or 3 words in a sentence. Big Pun Rhyme whole sentence.
3) Scarface - He originated gangstar Rap
4) NaS- Lyrical God
5)Rakim - elite lyricist
6) Slick Rick - The best story teller
7) Ice Cube - Brings the westside feel and good all around emceeing
5) Raekwon - Nice wordplay
6)2pac - Great alround and had a message which inspired
7)GZA - Great flow and lyrics
8) Kool G Rap - Would be the best If he got good production. Awesome lyrics
9)Jay-Z - Great allround and nice word plays. Has rapped the most memorable verses
10)Biggie - Awesome flow and word play but too bad he released only 2 albums
