Can a Christian be a furry? and what are the Christian views about furry?
I am a Christian and I found out that I am also a furry about a month ago, I love were-creatures (like werewolves, were-cats etc.). I like those creatures since a few years ago, but I do not know why I like those... I just like watching people being transform into animals. (I don't like to see the sexual contact parts in the furry comics and pictures.)
Also, I am thinking that if I can be a werewolf, that would be great... (Maybe because I like animals, nature and freedom. I think I don't have much freedom in this community.)
I am not so sure that why I am a furry, and I don't know if I am a Christian, that I can also be a furry. I am so confused about this.
Is furry only an interested? Or is it a faith? (If it is a faith, I might need to stop being a furry.)
Also, one more question. Is being a furry is a psychology problem? Why people like furry?

Furries can be dangerous. I still have claw marks on my back from one drunken encounter. This woman screamed like a banshee and also broke my headboard.

Being furry is not a psychological problem. If anything, it's a path to psychological understanding of oneself.

what you are talking about is totally demonic. God does not change people into animals and those who are able to do this do it only by the power of satan. you need to quit your interest in this immediately and repent.

as long as its doesn't fell like a sexual thing its okay I like furries and animal tfs too just cause I think its cool and I don't feel fetish about it I never have

furry is only an interest or hobby. All it means is that you like animals with human traits and you may make artwork, written fiction, or costumes. Or you may do none of those thing and just enjoy what others have made, which is fine.
You can still be Christian and furry, they don't conflict with each other. I've seen a lot of religious furs.
Being furry isn't a psychological problem. It's only an interest, just like enjoying anime or videogames. As long as you aren't over into it and you know it's all for fun, you are enjoying the fandom like a perfectly normal person.
