Mix water and alchol together?

If I mix water and alchol together,it will becomes a compound or a mixture?Why?(Please answer in English please!!)

Since water and alcohol is combined physically by stirring but not chemically, it is a mixture.

alcohol + water : no reaction
so, only become mixture

even for lower alcohol, they only become miscible/uniform mixture
