[英文文法問題]急問!! 關於of 表示主格/表示受格 問題

2012-09-07 6:31 am
我上網check過,但都唔係幾明,由其是下邊:

即名詞1 屬於名詞2。此外,名詞1 + of + 名詞2 亦可表示受格和主格關係。例如:

He gave a lecture on the use of solar energy. (他就太陽能的利用作了一場講演)
– solar energy (名詞2) 當 use (名詞1) 的受詞
We waited for the arrival of the next bus. (我們等待下一班公車的到來)
– next bus (名詞2) 當 arrival (名詞1) 的主詞

咁我既問題黎啦
1.名詞1 + of + 名詞2 呢個組合可以表示 受格和主格關係?
即係 [on the use of solar energy]表示緊受格關係?

咁之後一個問題
佢話[– solar energy (名詞2) 當 use (名詞1) 的受詞]
solar energy當 use既受詞?唔係太明,有冇人可以解釋(即係點樣當受詞,何謂受詞)
同埋
佢話[next bus (名詞2) 當 arrival (名詞1) 的主詞]
next bus 當arrival既主詞? 唔係太明,有冇人可以解釋(即係點樣當主詞,何謂主詞)

The possesive adj (grammar) showing possession as the possessive case.As an idiomatic construction of the language ,it is the use of the "of" form for obj and subj as possessive case:-
(a) For obj form as noun:-
eg:-the use of solar energy(obj2)
Solar energy (obj2)as in sentence
The sentence becomes:-He gave a lecture (s)on the use(v) of solar energy(obj2)
(b)For treating as subj form,
eg:-the arrival of the next bus (obj2)
The next bus (obj2) ought to switch arrival(n) to arrive (v)
The next bus(subj) arrived(v)
The sentence becomes as the original form:-We waited for the arrival(s1) of the next bus(s2).
