Are the GED assessment test questions taken from the actual GED test?

I am trying to study for my GED test. I was wondering, the fake tests that are available: are the questions the same on the actual GED test or will they be completely different?

The GED tests are closed exams meaning that questions may not be reproduced. The attempt is to have similar questions./
