Introduction to WELTON DESIGN

WELTON DESIGN has been a name in contemporary design since 2001, particularly with several furniture collections.
The 100% Italian made furniture is easily identified with its distinct sober, minimalist lines.
In a constantly evolving cycle, WELTON DESIGN has since developed a specialty in bespoke furniture and interior
design, attracting an extensive private clientele.
Moving on from contemporary furniture, interior design and home scents, WELTON DESIGN now furnishes terraces and
gardens with its outdoor collections, bearing highly evocative names such as Bali and Bora Bora.
John-Paul Welton also created LODGE by WELTON DESIGN early in 2007, a concept involving luxury, rented villas and
apartments with hotel services so that the client feels at home in a designer-yet-cosy interior.
Also for the home, its range of fragrances has been greeted with enthusiasm.


The Designer : John-Paul Welton

Passion drives English-born John-Paul Welton whose career has been quite exceptional. His role in diplomatic and
government circles led him to travel to the Middle East, Asia and the United States. After several years in this field, he
then made a complete change, leaving this world to devote himself entirely to his passion for interior design.
Curious by nature, his extensive travels were a primary source of inspiration for his first range of furniture launched in
2001, bearing the Welton Design signature.
However, creating an interior and enhancing its atmosphere requires not only furniture, colours and decorative objects
but also aromatic scents. John-Paul Welton is always on the lookout for the best possible quality for his clients so he
selected Grasse for its worldwide reputation in perfumery in order to develop a range of aromatic products for the
interior : home fragrances, scented candles and fragrance diffusers. By working on the creation of his scents, he
discovered a new passion.
