What happens after basic and ait army infantry?

will i be doing lots of sitting around and what not except when i do pt? so what goes on after ait?

All guys who sign up for Army Infantry should ask for Jump School and the Ranger Option."Sitting around"? Infantry?? Ha! Ha ha ha!

Well, I would imagine that you have to go to your first duty station where you will get told where to put your stuff and then start training with your new unit. It's not rocket surgery.
