The no. of data is r + 12 + 20 + 10 = 42 + rThe median is the (42 + r)/2 number, which is 4
So, (42 + r)/2 > r + 12
42 + r > 2r + 24
r < 18
However, when r = 17, (42 + r)/2 = 29.5, this means that the median is the average of 3 and 4, which is 3.5.
So, the no. of possible values of r is 16
