Can I get my money back on Amazon with hair dye?

I brought some colored hair dye on amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0025SVCIY/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00) and when I used it it had absolutely no effect on my hair. I looked at the comments and someone says you have to put it on dry hair, BUT in the instructions it says wet hair, so it is their fault, not mine. Should I send them a message? I would like to try again on dry hair, but I feel I wasted my money, and seeing as it's their fault I think I would be entitled to a free hair dye. What do you think?

No harm in trying. What colour is your hair? It is for use on fair or pre lightened/bleached hair, so if you didn't do this before hand it won't work.

You can try, but you should also contact the manufacturers too and explain the problem. There should be contact details on the packet.

the first 1* review says tehy tried complaining and got nowhere
the 2nd 1* rating said they did use it on dry hair and it was still rubbish
i didnt read any more of the reviews but you can try complaining, but looks like others havent had any joy when they did
