I suppose what you really mean is, sending a resume to apply for a job by email in the middle of the night.

No, there is nothing wrong.

Staff reruitment is part of my job. I assure you that I do receive resumes delivered to my email inbox in the odd hours of the day. Though they are only of a minority, this is not uncommon.

Hiring managers are more interested in reading your cover letter and resume than the time of the email. They seldom make a remark about the time of your email.

By the way, it is also possible that even you send a resume during normal hours but because of a technical problem with your mail server or the employer's mail server, your resume is not delivered until midnight. This may also happen.

So it is never a problem for us to submit our resume in the middle of the night
