小弟遇到一些關於英文的問題，想向熟悉英文的人士請教，謝謝！
(1) 以下的句子好像有點累贅，不知應如何修改才好？
Judy will not be available for an interview because she will not be in HK during this period of time, but she will be available on 6 Aug.
以下的句子都是看英語節目遇到的，卻不知應如何翻譯成中文：
(2) 某人跟朋友討論會否出席一個派對時，這樣跟對方說：”They can be so totally lame. Gag me.”
(3) 某人在旅館安頓下來後，說道：”A nice capper to the day.”
(4)母親不想跟女兒吵架，言談間說了這句話：”The skywriter will be here in a minute.”
(5) 一名食客在餐廳佔據痤位多時，老闆不客氣地跟對方說：”Give or take a profanity.” (究竟要give甚麼呢?)

1. 句子累贅因為把很重複的意思重複，並且有點文理不清(立場角色位置)，要假設這是行政人員報告上司...Judy wil not be in Hong Kong for the (scheduled) interview but she will be available on 8 Aug.
2. They can be so totally lame. Gag me
lam和gag都是以俚語使用-不是一般字典查到的意思
他們全是些無聊人，我真想死。
3. A nice capper to the day
終於有地方「落腳」(過夜)。[一天的好結束]
4. The skywriter will be here in a minute.
skywriter應該是指用飛機嚇噴白煙在天空中寫字/廣告...很快會來到
但不知這句跟母女吵架有甚麼關係?
5. Give or take a profanity.
give or take是一組phrase意思是如數學的+/-大約數
profanity是粗口-亦有是侮辱人的意思
如果這句如果就是如此對住那客人講的話=接近令人討厭(受辱)的地步
