Admission RequirementsTo be eligible for admission, a candidate should hold/ attain:an Associate Degree in Music Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University or an equivalent qualification from local/overseas recognized institutions; ora Higher Diploma from other recognized institutions; and Grade 8 ABRSM Practical or its equivalent and at least Grade 8 in ABRSM Theory (or its equivalent), and / or show other evidence of distinction in musicCandidates who possess equivalent qualifications are to be assessed by the Admission Committee on a case-by-case basis. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written exam and interview / audition should the admission panel deem it necessary.Students who need to make up for the pre-requisite and the complementary studies courses may do so with the College of International Education (CIE), Hong Kong Baptist University. Concurrent enrollment of programme pre-requisite/complementary studies courses and major core/elective courses is acceptable.
