請用公因數or公倍數解答!please

Peter and Paul are running on a circular track. Peter completes one cycle in 7
minutes and paul completes one cycle in 9 minutes. Suppose they start running at
the same starting point now. How long will they take to meet again at the starting
point if

( a ) they run in the same direction.

( b ) they run in opposite directions.

L.C.M. of 7 and 9
= 7 x 9
= 63

If they run in the same direction, time taken for them to meet again at thestarting point
= 63minutes


(b)
L.C.M. of 7 and 9

a.
7 minutes because Peter and Paul ride at the same direction
although the lengh of they ride 1 minute is not same but they can meet when they also ride 7 times.
b.
63minutes because the L.C.M. of 7 and 9 is 63.
