根據世界書局出版的英文文法大全,兩個以上的主語用"or""nor" 連接起來時,動詞和最相近的一個主語要一致。
1)Either Ray or his cousins have witnessed the ceremony.
2)Eiher Janet or Mary has a soft toy.
3)Neither you nor he is wrong.
4)Either they or I am wrong.
5)Is either your father or your mother at home ?
6)Either he or I am to go==Either he is to go, or I am.
7)Neither you nor he is wrong==Neither you are wrong, nor is he.

EITHER (noun 1) OR (noun 2) + verb

When the subject is formed with “either.. or”, the verb agrees with the noun nearest (noun 2) to it.

Either Ray or his cousins HAVE witnessed the ceremony
cousins ~ plural, have ~plural verb

Either Janet or Mary HAS a soft toy.
Mary~singular, has~singular verb
