(1) amino acid : cannot be found in faeces
because the amino acids not absorbed by the body undergo deamination in the liver and are converted into urea which are excreted in the urine

(2) glycerol : cannot be found in faeces
because digested glycerol that are not yet in used are stored in adipose tissues

(3) Roughage : can be found in faeces
because it cannot be digested by our body

(4) digestive enzymes : can be found in faeces
because the secreted digestive enzymes will not be re-absorbed by the body

(5) vitamin : found in small amount
because most fat-soluble vitamins are store in liver, only very small amount will be egested
while for water-soluble vitamins, they are excreted in urine

(6) HCl : cannot be found in faeces
because HCl reacts with sodium hydrogencarbonate in intestinal juice

2.
a) bread mainly contains starch, so, mainly digested into glucose
b) mutton mainly contains proteins, so, mainly digested into amino acids
c) olive oil mainly contains lipid, so, mainly digested into fatty acids and glycerol

3.
i) food in gullet contains more protein while in stomach conatins less protein
because in stomach proteins are digested for the first time
ii) Food in gullet is alkaline while in stomach is acidic
because in mouth cavity, food is mixed with saliva which is alkaline
in stomach, food is mixed with gastric juice which contains acidic HCl

4.
Water is absorbed by the body in the large intestine.
As 'food' pass through the large intestine, water remained is absorbed by the wall of large intestine (probably by osmosis)
