I am confused with weekend and weekday
I find that weekend is "the period of time between Friday evening and Monday morning"
Anyone can explain more to me?! please. thanks.

You are right that weekend is the period between Friday evening and Monday morning. In other words, weekend refers to Saturday and Sunday.Weekday refers to the rest of the week, i.e. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Most office workers work on weekdays and rest during the weekend
