Blodwen: Nice attempt at dodging the issue, but we are constantly being told that there are a considerable number of contemporary Roman records from Judea 30-35 AD by atheists, and yet we never see any examples, because actually - It's a lie!!

更新2:

Titus Livius died in 17 AD Julius Caesar died in 44 BC!! Must I go on????

更新3:

Paterculus died in 31 Ad and "The text of the work, preserved in a single badly written and mutilated manuscript (discovered by Beatus Rhenanus in 1515 in Murbach Abbey in Alsace and now lost), is very corrupt." - so no help there!!

更新4:

Dionysius of Halicarnassus died before Christ was born!!!

更新5:

Pliny The Elder was 11 when Christ died, so no help there either!!

更新6:

Dio Cassius - was not born until 120 years after Christ's crucifixion!! Wow, what a list!!

更新7:

Tacitus is a double fail as he was born after Christ AND yet mentions Christ!! Thanks for your help!!

Big IF.

I think there are none.

Perhaps a couple of non-Roman historians at best, but writing about History - not the present day as it was then (eg Thallus and Philo)

If you are addressing the lack of historical record of Jesus Christ that is because God has sealed us all up to His word alone.

None can know Christ except through God's word and by revelation from the Father.

The only way we can know anything about Christ is from the record that God has given us in His word. In view of the paramount importance of the truth and of salvation and of the sinfulness of men that is only what should be expected.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

You could start with looking up
the writings of these historians:

Julius Caesar

Titus Livius

C. Sallustius Crispus

Tacitus

Dionysius of Halicarnassus

Pliny the Elder

Velleius Paterculus

Dio Cassius

Those are just a few,
but I have a feeling you won't like
what you don't find..
