Hey guys,
So today I was going through my mom's cabinet (with tampons and whatever, she lets me use whatever I need) and I found a walgreens bag. In it, there was a pregnancy test. I haven't seen her birth control tablets around at all like I usually see it on her counter but I thought this was due to the fact we remodeled her room and bathroom last week, so she hasn't put it back yet. Both of my parents are very busy so I doubt they want another child, I'm a teenager and I have an almost pre-teen brother.
So my question is, do all woman take pregnancy tests, even if they are on birth control?

I think that yes, at some point or another, every women uses a pregnancy test. And lots of women will sometimes get one to have around "just in case." Maybe because of the remodeling she missed a pill or something so she got a test in case her period is late.

Only if they have reason to think they may be pregnant.
That doesn't mean they ARE pregnant or TRYING to get pregnant. I once took a pregnancy test while on Mirena (to be clear, Mirena is as effective as getting your tubes tied when it comes to preventing pregnancy) just because I felt like I might be pregnant.

Not all women do but its better to be safe than sorry. i wouldnt worry to much about it. I would take one a few times just to be sure.

The majority of the women now days do. I did my mom did. I mean yeah they do. It's ok too. Because if you drink and you dont know you are pregnant you oculd harm the baby its ok.

It seems like most of the women come here on yahoo to ask pregnancy questions when their problems could be solved with buying a test. They seem to lack the common sense, some of these yahoo people. That is just my take on it.
