Correct tense and other mistakes

These people (areX) normally (workingX) work on pruning apple trees or planting blueberry trees(treeX). - Use simple present tense (not present continuous tense) to express that the action 'work' is usual. Use plural 'trees' for tree.

Whereas both simple present and present continuous are correct grammatically, in the given sentences which do not specified the actions 'stay' and 'work' are happening now, stick to simple present tense for the actions in "usual" (or "general truth") sense.

In the past,Hospitals were built(=use past tense).
Delete (in) in phrase 10 years ago.
Accomodation spelling as :-accommodation.
As stated,the Past Continuous Tense is used for an action that is continuing but is expected to end sooner or later;end after a certain period of time for the apple picking season,hence:-

#3****using present continuous tense is definitely correct grammatically because they are not working for the whole year, just one or two seasons. present continuous tense is used to show an action which will end after a certain period of time.
