Mr. Wong invests $10000 for 5 years. If the simple interest is $2000, what is the interest rate per annum?

Let the interest rate per annum be r%.$10000 * r % * 5 = $2000
10000 * r/100 * 5 = 2000
500r = 2000
r = 4
The interest rate per annum is 4%.
